This is spelled out at booking, in our confirmation email, and on the intake sheet every client signs at the visit, so it's not a surprise term. We structure it this way because an untreated case in close contact can pass lice right back to family members who've already been treated — which is exactly what happened here: Grandma was confirmed to have a case, and chose to treat it at home rather than with us. When I spoke, I offered to have Grandma come in for her own treatment, and in exchange, retreat your son at no cost and extend you the guarantee for this visit despite not qualifying for it initially. That offer still stands — please reach out directly so we can get this resolved.

Our per-person price isn't for time in the chair — it's for a complete head check, treatment, and our 60-day guarantee, currently the only one in the metro that covers both treatment failure and reinfestation. Most clinics here stop at 30 days and cover treatment failure only, which means a case that comes back gets declined. Ours doesn't. If lice show up in your household in the next 60 days, we retreat everyone at no charge — no second appointment, no product purchase required to qualify. That's also why a 15-minute head and a 45-minute head cost the same. We're pricing the guarantee, and we carry that risk across the whole family. Averaging it is what lets us finish the difficult heads without adding to your bill at checkout. We try hard not to surprise anyone at checkout: we quote per-person pricing on the phone when families call, and the same prices are listed on the booking page before any deposit.
